Malvern is my adopted home after living in Australia and France. Art has always been a presence throughout my life. I studied drama and art with emphasis on stage design and my career path fortunately embraced both disciplines. Now I have time to relax and enjoy the informality of painting using both watercolour and acrylics.

I take the natural world as inspiration for watercolours developing images from the shapes I see. With acrylics I paint mainly rural and urban ‘scapes’. Khadi paper is my ‘go-to’ for watercolour and I use Sennelier watercolour and acrylic paint as I enjoy the honey-based medium for its richness and texture.

Sketching usually forms the basis of my work. I enjoy developing often simple sketches into complete paintings. My work is available for sale and I will take commissions. Contact me on the form below if you are interested.
