Tina Waite
Textile Artist
My name is Tina Waite, and I’m a textile maker based in Malvern, where I’ve lived all my life. I create handmade bags, accessories, and homewares using pre-loved fabric and upcycled clothing. I began making in 2017 as a way to de-stress and found joy in the creative process. Though I have no formal training, I learned through school needlework, books, online resources, and experimentation. I’m passionate about sustainability and love giving new life to fabric that might otherwise go to waste. Much of my material is donated by friends and family or sourced from charity shops. I especially enjoy working with denim, cotton, and felt, and I’m inspired by nature and my garden. Every piece I make is unique and eco-friendly, combining function with creativity. I enjoy hunting for funky, unusual textiles and turning them into one-of-a-kind items that don’t cost the earth.
I am happy to work on commissions so please feel free to contact me for more information.
