How to become a Member

Joining the Malvern Hills Art & Crafts Guild is easy - we are not an exclusive 'club' and are always keen to welcome new members.

You do not have to be a professional artist or craftsperson to be eligible. What we will ask is that you submit samples of your work for our selection committee to review. This ensures that we maintain our reputation for high quality workmanship and that a good balance of art and craft types is maintained within the shop.

You should be aware that space within the gallery is limited and at times we may not be able to offer full membership. Should this situation arise, your name will be added to a waiting list.

What you need to do:

• Decide on a sample of your proposed product line(s) and complete the enclosed application form.
• Ring our the Gallery on 01684 566872 to arrange a suitable time to bring your work and form into the gallery. This will give you the opportunity to chat informally about what becoming a member entails and to discuss space allocation, costs etc.
• It will take us approximately 7 to 10 days before we come back to you with regard to your application. This allows us time to arrange for members of the selection committee to review your work.
• Hopefully we will like your work and be able to offer you membership. If we are unable to do this, full and constructive reasons will be given.
